DENVER — An Arapahoe County inmate is accused of asking his cellmate to kill a woman who had prosecuted him for a sex offense involving a teen girl.

KUSA-TV in Denver reports (http://on9news.tv/12HeWoB ) Christian Harvey is being held on $10 million bond on a charge of solicitation of first-degree murder.

KUSA reported Wednesday that after Harvey was convicted of the sex offense, he was jailed for failing to register as a sex offender.

Court records say Harvey's cellmate told his attorney that Harvey had asked him to kill the woman who prosecuted him. Court documents say Harvey's cellmate was wired so prosecutors could hear Harvey's plan, which allegedly included instructions to shoot the prosecutor and make it look like a gang hit.

Online court records didn't list Harvey's attorney.
