Colorado infant airlifted to hospital after being attacked by family dog

EVERGREEN - An infant in Evergreen was airlifted to a hospital Tuesday after being attacked by a dog.

The child was bitten on the head by the family's American Bulldog at their home on Pine Road near Evergreen Lake, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office deputies said.

The 1-year-old boy is at Children's Hospital being treated for series injuries. Investigators said the boy's mother called 911 at around noon to report the attack.
