DENVER — The Colorado Association of Realtors says housing markets across Colorado slowed in the fourth quarter.

According to the Denver Post (http://tinyurl.com/mdgx2ym ), housing activity was weakest in the state's mountain-resort counties, which suffered a 15 percent drop in listings and a 14 percent drop in sales in the fourth quarter.

The northwest region saw a 6 percent decline.

Fourth-quarter home sales rose at the fastest pace in the northeast region of the state at about 10 percent.

Realtors say the biggest difference was found in the southwest region, where listings rose 15 percent and sales rose only 4.5 percent in the fourth quarter versus a year earlier.
