Community Conversations is a new quarterly public forum that focuses on larger and sometimes divisive issues in Colorado Springs. The first forum, 6-8:15 p.m. Thursday in Colorado College's Armstrong Theatre, 14 E. Cache La Poudre St., will focus on homelessness in the downtown area.
Colorado College President Jill Tiefenthaler will moderate a panel of community leaders, followed by small-group discussions facilitated by Food for Thought, a program of the Colorado Springs Diversity Forum that fosters civil discourse with a goal of respectful, curious non-judgmental conversation.
The event is free and open to the public, and sponsored by The Gazette and CC.
