Newspaper Publication of Notice The Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing invites the public to comment on proposed waiver amendments to the following Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waivers: -- Persons with Developmental Disabilities (DD) -- Supported Living Services (SLS) -- Children's Extensive Support (CES) -- Children with a Life-Limiting Illness (CLLI) The proposed amendment for the DD waiver includes adding language about Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) activities, Dental benefit updates, new Performance Measures for QIO activities, updates to the provider qualifications for the Non-Medical Transportation benefit, updates to language that speaks to Conflict Free Case Management, and updates to the unduplicated client count. The proposed amendment for the SLS waiver includes adding language about QIO activities, Dental and Home-Modification benefit updates, new Performance Measures for QIO activities, an exemption for individuals under the age of 21 for the Personal Care benefit, and updates to language that speaks to Conflict Free Case Management. The proposed amendment for the CES waiver includes the removal of Behavioral Therapies, Vision, and Personal Care services, new Performance Measures for QIO activities, and updates to language that speaks to Conflict Free Case Management. The proposed amendment for the CLLI waiver includes adding language about QIO activities and new Performance Measures for QIO activities. The Department has asked for an effective date of August 22nd, 2018 for all amendments.
