  • October 24 - The Trade Adjustment Assistance Program was created by the Trade Act of 1974. This program is available to workers who lose their jobs or whose hours of work and wages were (or will be) reduced as a result of adverse imports competition. The Trade Act of 2014 covers all petitions that were filed on or after 01/01/2014. The company listed below was certified by the U.S. Department of Labor. All eligible workers that were partially or totally separated from their work during the time periods appearing below will be mailed a written notice informing them of benefits that could be available to them. The notice will also include an explanation of how workers can apply for TAA benefits and services. If you do not receive a notice but appear to be eligible, contact your nearest Workforce center and speak with a TAA Counselor as quickly as possible. There are deadlines involved with this program.   • October 24 - NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR 2014 KEETON RESERVOIR RESTORATION PROJECT CITY OF FOUNTAIN, COLORADO The City of Fountain is reconstructing a reservoir in El Paso County, west of the City of Fountain. The City of Fountain is requesting that interested contractors who are capable of being bonded for a $300,000 construction project submit a Bid for this project.
