Main Street, Fountain, CO 80817, until 1:30 P.M. on Friday, March 10, 2017. The Request for Bid information packet is available on the City’s internet website at www.fountaincolorado.org. Contractors will find the 2016 CDBG CDBG Provincial Drive and Comanche Village Drive ADA Sidewalk & Curb Ramp Improvement Project No. 4165208 bid packet information. The City of Fountain received notice of award of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from El Paso County for this project. CDBG regulations governing the grant require that to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this CDBG-assisted project will be extended to local lower-income residents within El Paso County. Further to the greatest extent feasible, business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area will be utilized. Bidding contractors will be required to submit a Housing & Urban Development Section 3 Plan. This project is federally funded.
