The Charis Bible College in Woodland Park held a grand opening ceremony Saturday to mark the completion of the first phase of construction on its new campus, according to our news partners at KOAA.
Community members were given guided tours of a nearly 77,000-square-foot building called "The Sanctuary" that holds several classrooms and a large banquet hall. Charis began construction on the $32-million building on Gospel Truth Way, formerly Trout Creek Road, about 14 months ago.
Students at Charis attend two or three-year programs which award associate, bachelor's and master's degrees learning about numerous aspects of Christian ministry such as worship and business.
