Tuesday and Wednesday will be warm in Colorado Springs, but by the end of the week, temperatures are expected to drop alongside chances of rain - and maybe snow.
The National Weather Service in Pueblo predicted highs of 76 degrees Tuesday, 72 degrees Wednesday and 62 degrees Thursday. Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be breezy, and skies are expected to be mostly sunny Tuesday, sunny Wednesday and mostly sunny Thursday until a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms begins after noon.
The storm will bring a cooldown and "another healthy dose of moisture," according to Gazette news partner KKTV.
"The exact track of this system is still in question, though it could bring moderate to heavy rain and higher elevation snowfall to much of area," according to a hazardous weather outlook from the weather service.
On average, highs are 60 degrees Tuesday and 61 degrees Wednesday and Thursday, weather service data shows.
