Chadron St.'s Marshall to enter RMAC Hall of Fame

CHADRON, Neb. (AP) — The longtime director of information services and sports information at Chadron State College will be inducted into the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Hall of Fame.

Con Marshall served as the western Nebraska college's publicist for more than three decades. He retired in 2007 but has stayed involved in campus activities. The Chadron native also is one of the Panhandle's prominent historians.

Former University of Nebraska at Kearney basketball player Eric Strand also will enter the hall.

The RMAC Hall of Fame induction ceremony is July 11 in Colorado Springs.
