CC freshman defenseman Gustav Olofsson signs with Minnesota Wild

The Minnesota Wild signed Colorado College freshman defenseman Gustav Olofsson to a three-year entry level contract starting next season. He was Minnesota's second-round (46th overall) pick in the 2013 NHL draft.

He will report to the Iowa Wild in the American Hockey League later this week on an amateur tryout.

The Boras, Sweden, native played one season at Colorado College, recording eight points (four goals) in 30 games.
