A 41-year-old woman was cited for careless driving after she hit a median, caused a rollover crash and smashed through a building in her Chevy Blazer Wednesday afternoon, Colorado Springs police said.

Maria Soto-Zuno was turning left onto Academy Boulevard from Goddard Street when she hit the median and then veered to the right, hitting a Jeep Wrangler that was driving on the outside turn lane. The collision sent the Jeep spinning and knocked it over on its side, police said.

After hitting the Jeep, the Blazer drove off the right side of the road and smashed through the Academy Art & Frame Company at 7560 North Academy Boulevard, police said.

Police said alcohol and speed don't appear to be factors in the crash.
