A car hit a school bus carrying 60 students from Grandview High School Wednesday afternoon, but none of the teens were injured.

The crash happened around 3 p.m. at East Arapahoe Road and South Himalaya Way, said Tustin Amole, spokeswoman for the Cherry Creek School District.

"One of the students was evaluated at the scene, but everyone, including the bus driver, is fine," she said.

It is unclear if the driver of the car was hurt. Crews were on the scene trying to cut the driver out of his car.

Another school bus is going to the scene and will take everyone back to the high school where parents can pick them up, Amole said.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said East Arapahoe Road was closed in both directions at Waco and Himalaya while deputies worked the scene.
