More than 100 people attended a candlelight vigil Tuesday evening at the First Southern Baptist Church to give community support to the young lady who lost her immediate family as a result of Sunday night's triple homicide.

"Tonight is our way of saying we love you," Pastor Thomas Killgore said. "All of us are here because we're sorry."

The 16-year-old girl is reportedly a victim of sexual assault, according to Cañon City law enforcement. CCPD arrested Jaacob Vanwinkle, 31, without incident at the home. Vanwinkle is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday to be formally charged. He faces three counts of first-degree murder, two counts of sexual assault charges and kidnapping.
