A Cañon City man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the sexual assault and exploitation of at least six minors, according to a statement from the Fremont County Sheriff's Office.

Anthony Dion Goyett, 43, was arrested on suspicion of two felony counts of sexual exploitation of children and two counts of invasion of privacy for sexual gratification, records show.

Two victims ranging from 6 to 11 years of age were involved in the investigation, according to the statement from Capt. Don Pinover.

Goyett had previously been arrested on April 21 on suspicion of sexual assault on a child, aggravated incest, sexual exploitation of children, invasion of privacy for sexual gratification and possession of a weapon by a previous offender, Pinover said.

The initial investigation involved four children between the ages of 9 and 14, the statement read.

Goyett posted a $50,000 bond and was released from the Fremont County jail Wednesday, records show.
