PHILADELPHIA (AP) — State police are investigating a crash on a Philadelphia highway involving a budget travel bus, a school bus and four more cars.
Pennsylvania State Police say six people were taken to a hospital after the collision in the westbound lanes of I-676 near I-76 on Monday morning and none of the injuries were life threatening.
The crash involved a double-decker MegaBus budget travel bus that struck the rear of the school bus. That bus was pushed into the rear of a car in front of it and then struck a second car which, in turn, struck two more cars.
Traffic was able to proceed past the crash along the left shoulder but was backed up down the highway.
State police say the cause of the crash is under investigation.
