Three businesses at the corner of North Academy Boulevard and North Carefree Circle were burglarized Wednesday morning in what Colorado Springs police say is similar to other recent crimes.
No arrests were made in connection with the break-ins at 3570 North Academy Boulevard, Sgt. Chuck Potter said, and their investigation is ongoing. Potter said the method that the burglars used to break into the businesses is consistent with other commercial burglaries that have occurred in the past "five or six weeks."
Potter declined to release more details on which businesses were burglarized and how the burglars broke in. Potter said the police have no suspects, but believe that three people broke into the businesses. Officers responded around 1:30 a.m., police said, and reported that merchandise was stolen from the businesses.
