Denver Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer was pepper sprayed by a bouncer during a fight outside an Ohio strip club in February, according to TMZ in video published Sunday.

The 24-year-old Latimer was trying to get into Diamonds Cabaret strip club near Dayton, Ohio, with his uncle and a friend, but got into a disagreement with the bouncer about the dress code, according to TMZ.

The group asked to speak to the manager and then moved outside. That's where the video starts.

The Denver Post reports that the Broncos and league were aware of the incident.

Latimer later Sunday tweeted his response.

"I've talked to Coach (Vance) Joseph and the Broncos, have been very upfront and explained everything," said in his tweet. "Although I was just trying to settle things down, I know I have to be careful of the situations I put myself in because I expect a lot of myself."
