BRECKENRIDGE - Denver Broncos executive Matt Russell was sentenced Friday to seven months in jail and two years of probation for a DUI last summer on the day after his 40th birthday, according to thedenverchannel.com.
Court records show the Broncos' director of player personnel pleaded guilty Friday to driving under the influence. Documents released last summer show he had a .246 breath-alcohol content at the time of his arrest -- three times the legal limit of .08.
Prior to the arrest, State Patrol Trooper Nate Reid told 7NEWS last summer, Russell was driving his pickup in Frisco when he crashed into another vehicle. He stopped and exchanged information with that driver.
