Two local breweries have planned fundraisers for the family of El Paso County Sheriff's Deputy Micah Flick, who was killed in a shooting Monday in Colorado Springs.

Today, all proceeds from sales at Fieldhouse Brewing Company at 521 S. Tejon St. will go to the Flick family, according to a Facebook event the brewery created. In addition to its regular selection, Fieldhouse will be offering its Blonde Stout as part of its weekly "Test Tap Wednesday" beginning at 5 p.m., the event page states.

Through Saturday, Whistle Pig Brewing Company at 1840 Dominion Way will donate $1 of every Blue Line IPA sold at the tap to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Foundation.

On Friday and Saturday, JAKs Brewing Company at 11860 Stapleton Drive in Falcon will be donating $1 from every beer sold and matching the donations, according to a Facebook event the brewery created.

JAKs will also host an auction at 5 p.m. Saturday with the proceeds going to the family. Falcon vendors have donated a variety of items for the auction.

"Please join us this weekend to honor his courageous career, share in great memories and show support for his beautiful family during this time," the event page states.

Those who can't attend the events can also provide monetary support for the Flick family. Donations to the family can be made through the Sheriff's Office Foundation at 1980 Dominion Way, Colorado Springs, CO, 80918.
