Boy rushed into surgery after being stabbed in stomach at Colorado Springs park

A teenage boy was stabbed in the abdomen after getting into an argument with a group of teenagers at a park in southwest Colorado Springs, police said. Colorado Springs police said the victim was stabbed with a large knife at a pavilion in Cheyenne Meadows Park, located on the 3800 block of Glenmeadow Drive.

Police said the teen was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, and underwent surgery. He is listed as serious but stable condition, according to police. Multiple people witnessed the incident, police said. They are still working to identify a suspect.
