Air Force junior Billy Christopoulos transitioned smoothly back into the role of starter in the Atlantic Hockey Conference, earning league goalie of the month honors for October. He led the Falcons to a 5-2-1 record.
Per a team release, Christopoulos' five wins and .688 winning percentage are the best of any AHC goalie, and his 210 saves are the most in the league and rank eighth in the nation.
Christopoulos' coach and teammates have been quick to give him credit for the winning record.
"We're fortunate to have Billy in the net stopping pucks, and we're fortunate to have the record we do so far," Falcons forward Kyle Haak said.
