Update: Altidore cleared for game against Belgium

According to an AP report out of Brazil, United States striker Jozy Altidore is not expected to start on Tuesday in the US' round of 16 game against Belgium in Salvador, Brazil, in the knockout stages of the World Cup.

Altidore trained by himself again on Saturday. Whether he sees any playing time coming off the bench would be another topic of conversation.
