Colorado Springs police located two women considered at-risk adults who left a residential care facility Wednesday.
Jana Smith, 36, and Annette Varnum, 42, were found safe and unharmed Thursday afternoon, police confirmed.
The two women had left The Senior Home on 3102 N. Prospect St., to walk to a nearby McDonald's around 3:30 p.m. and have not been heard from or seen since, police said.
Smith has had two strokes in the last two weeks and Varnum is bipolar with the mental capacity of a 13-year-old, according to police. Varnum had a history of leaving the residential facility, police said.
