ASPEN — A former Aspen yoga instructor convicted of groping students during his classes has been ordered to serve a two-month sentence in the county jail.
A jury in 2010 found Steven Roger guilty of two counts of unlawful sexual contact and he must now register as a sex offender. Roger's appeal of the conviction was denied by a district court judge and he was ordered Tuesday to report to jail by July 18.
According to the Aspen Daily News (http://tinyurl.com/lfq3wla ), two women testified at Roger's trial that he slipped his hand under their pants and inappropriately touched them while he helped to adjust their yoga poses.
