Two Colorado Springs School District 11 schools are holding cultural events.

An art and culture celebration will be 6-8 p.m. April 22 at McAuliffe Elementary School, 830 Hathaway Dr. Families can make art, see authentic artwork and costumes and hear music from seven countries.  There will be German folk dancing in the gym, an art exhibit, face painting and henna painting.

Social Studies Expression Night at Sabin Middle School, 3605 N. Carefree Circle, will be 6-8 p.m. April 29. It will feature student projects and presentations, and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo will bring “ambassador animals.”
