Once again, Air Force’s football team won’t say hello to a bye.

The Mountain West Conference released its 2010 schedule Monday, completing the Falcons’ slate. And for the third time in four seasons – and the second in a row – Air Force will play 12 consecutive games without a bye week.

Air Force will open the season at home against a team from the Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Division I-AA) for the fourth season in a row. This year it’ll be Northwestern State on Sept. 4.

After that is a pretty daunting stretch. The Falcons open up MWC play at home Sept. 11 against BYU – a team that has beaten Air Force six years in a row – and the following week they play at national power Oklahoma. After returning to MWC play with a game at Wyoming on Sept. 25, Air Force faces archrival Navy on Oct. 2.

Air Force’s first 11 games will be played on Saturdays, but its regular season finale, at UNLV, will be played on a Thursday night.
