1. Will the Broncos get help?

There are 10 scenarios in which the Broncos can make the playoffs. Not all include a Broncos win, but all include plenty of help. First and foremost, the Broncos need either Oakland to knock off Baltimore or Cincinnati to beat the Jets, or their playoff hopes are done.

2. Receivers needed

Without Brandon Marshall, Tony Scheffler and possibly Eddie Royal, who is questionable on the injury report, the Broncos need someone to catch Kyle Orton’s passes. The offense has relied heavily on Marshall lately, so having him inactive will be tough to overcome.

3. Establish a running game

As the Broncos have faded down the stretch, the running game has disappeared. Josh McDaniels has decided to blame the offensive line rather than struggling rookie back Knowshon Moreno. No matter the culprit, the Broncos need to run against a Chiefs defense that gave up 245 rushing yards in the first meeting.
