Douglas Bruce has filed a professional misconduct complaint against the prosecutors and judge in his recent Colorado Springs municipal court trial on a trespassing charge.

The complaint alleges that City Attorney Patricia Kelly, Assistant City Attorneys Michelle Keller and Kenneth Hodges and Judge Spencer Gresham acted unprofessionally during a trial earlier this month in which Bruce and a co-defendant were acquitted.

City spokesman John B. Leavitt said the city is confident that a review of the case “will show we acted in good faith and that Mr. Bruce’s complaint is without merit.”
