Hazard was discovered by a park worker about 8 a.m. Monday on a trail near the Marvin J. Urban picnic pavilion. Hazard was last seen about 5 p.m. Sunday, police said.
The shooting occurred in the park, said Springs police spokesman Lt. David Whitlock.
Police are looking for Hazard's white 2009 Hyundai Sonata, bearing Colorado plates 124-RRU.
