The Pikes Peak region is home to over 65 galleries that carry diverse, original artwork by local and nationally-known artists. From long-established collections of museum-quality heirlooms to off-the-beaten path showcases of emerging artists, our local galleries will surprise and delight you. They also offer gift ideas far more unique than anything you can find this season in a box store, at a variety of prices, shapes, and subjects. Many offer special holiday shopping events for Small Business Saturday on Nov. 25.

The Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region (COPPeR) produces a comprehensive, free Gallery Guide available online at tinyurl.com/GalleryGuide2018 or in print at galleries around the region. We hope it inspires you to get to know our incredible visual arts community!

Here are 5 suggestions of galleries you may never have visited that are perfect for holiday shopping:

45 Degree Gallery

This newer gallery in the Old Colorado City strip features paintings, jewelry, pottery, furniture and home accessories from over 50 artisans. Potter Tony Guido’s handmade aspen dishware is particularly popular – request the custom option to have your gift recipient’s initials carved into the bark of the aspens on his whimsical dishes, mugs, vases, and serving platters.
