Colorado Springs will pay tribute to Pearl Harbor's legacy, victims and survivors Thursday during the city's annual remembrance ceremony at the Pioneers Museum.

Representatives of all five branches of the military will gather at 11 a.m. to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice 76 years ago at Hawaii's Pearl Harbor.

The public is welcome to attend the ceremony in the Old Court Room on the third floor of the museum at 215 S. Tejon St.

There are four Pearl Harbor survivors remaining in the Pikes Peak region, event organizers said.

According to the Navy, 2,459 Americans were killed and hundreds were wounded in the Japanese attack on Dec. 7, 1941.

A second ceremony in remembrance of Pearl Harbor will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the PFC Floyd K. Lindstrom VA Clinic, 3141 Centennial Blvd.
