- A movie lover's delight, the 40th Denver Film Festival concludes at Sie Film Center, 2510 E. Colfax Ave.  It's a pretty good bet Academy Award contenders are in this group. On Saturday at Ellie Caulkins Opera House, "I, Tonya," recounting the Tonya Harding ice-skating saga. FRIDAY-SUNDAY

- Ski and snowboard season is here, and the Ski & Snowboard Expo is this weekend in Denver's Colorado Convention Center, 700 14th St., skisnowexpo.com/denver-expo.

- Fill a weekend with film screenings at the 30th annual Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College and Cornerstone Arts Center, rmwfilminstitute.org/festival.

SATURDAY

- Pueblo, hometown of four Congressional Medal of Honor recipients and the Medal of Honor Museum, throws a "Salute to the Spirit of Our Veterans Parade" at 10 a.m.. Bells will toll at 11 a.m. for "Armistice Day." The parade begins at B Street and Union Avenue and ends on Third Street. pueblochamber.org. CO BEER FEST
Hundreds fill the Freedom Financial Services Expo Center for the eighth annual All Colorado Beer Festival Saturday, November 1, 2014. The festival features 71 breweries from all across Colorado. Michael Ciaglo, The Gazette
