CBL Properties, which manages Chapel Hills Mall, announced Wednesday the northside mall will close for the second consecutive year on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, and will reopen at 6 a.m. Friday, Nov. 24.

Stores with exterior entrances can open on Thanksgiving, but the mall's common areas and hallways will be closed. Tennessee-based CBL manages 120 other malls and other shopping centers in 27 states, mostly in the eastern and Midwestern U.S.
