Colorado Springs student wins tutoring scholarship

Sylvan Learning Center of Colorado Springs, 1791 S. Eighth St., has awarded a $1,000 scholarship to 10th grader Lucas Kucera of Colorado Springs to work on improving his study skills across all subjects.

The scholarship was given based on entries filled out at the Women's Living Expo in August.

Sylvan Learning provides tutoring services for K-12 students.
