A funeral Mass for Michael Finley, a Falcon High School senior killed when a suspected drunken driver turned in front of him, is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 4925 N. Carefree Circle, in Colorado Springs.
Finley was on the student council and a month away from graduating with the Class of 2017.
In addition to student council, Finley had been in ROTC and had been on the football team, said his sister, Carlie Astor.
Finley worked at Culver's Restaurant, where he trained new employees, and had aspirations of one day becoming a police officer. He was planning to register for classes at Pikes Peak Community College, Astor said.
Finley was driving home from a friend's house April 14 when he was killed, she said.
The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash, 52-year-old Michael Fay, is facing driving under the influence and vehicular homicide charges, said Trooper Alisha Danko, a Colorado State Patrol spokeswoman.
