Finding a 60-pound micro pig in the road inspired Colorado Springs police officers to use all the puns at their disposal.

The pig, Mooshu, was "hogging the road near the Clarion Hotel," police wrote in an Instagram post Wednesday. Officers had responded to the area, near Spruce Street and Platte Avenue, on a report of a traffic hazard.

"Mooshu wasn't a ham burglar but had just wandered away from home about two blocks away," police wrote.

But bacon from the hotel's buffet saved the day as the pig was coaxed back into its yard.

"There was no sign of a pulled ham-string and the pig is in good health," police wrote.
