The sports schedule in the Pikes Peak region has been wiped out Tuesday by wind, snow and cold temperatures.
Tuesday night's game between the Colorado Springs Sky Sox and Tucson Padres has been postponed. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader starting at 11:05 a.m. Thursday. Both games will be scheduled for seven innings.
The game scheduled for Wednesday at 11:05 a.m. between the Sky Sox and Tucson has been postponed because of forecasted cold weather and unplayable conditions. The present conditions in Colorado Springs with snow, high winds and freezing temperatures that postponed Tuesday’s game also factored into the postponement. Wednesday’s game will be made up as part of a doubleheader June 27 when the Padres return to Colorado Springs. The two games will be scheduled for seven innings with the first game starting at 5:05.
Fans with tickets to the games can exchange them for any other Sky Sox 2013 regular season home game excluding July 4. Tickets must be exchanged in person at the Sky Sox box office.
