Because of cold, icy, windy weather El Paso County officials have canceled a town hall meeting scheduled for Tuesday night at Ute Pass Elementary School.

The meeting, which was to address flash flood risks coming out of the Waldo Canyon fire burn scar, will be rescheduled.

The city of Colorado Springs will hold a meeting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Glen Eyrie, 3820 N. 30th St., to discuss emergency preparedness for residents of the Pleasant Valley neighborhood.

There will also be meetings at Manitou Springs city hall on April 15 and April 24.
