Colorado Springs police say they arrested a man early Saturday after his car rolled down a slope and landed on the patio of an apartment building.

Troy Lambert was driving eastbound on the 2800 block of East Woodmen Road around 2 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and careened off the road, police said. When he tried to get away from a steep slope, his car rolled down the hill and wound up lodged between the first floor patio and second floor balcony of a building at The Village at Woodland Hills.

Eastbound Woodmen Road from North Union Boulevard was closed for a few hours to remove the vehicle from the apartment’s patio. It reopened just before 5 a.m.

No injuries were reported. Police said they believe alcohol was a factor in the accident and arrested Lambert.
