Colorado Springs police responded to an armed robbery call Thursday morning at the Walgreens located at 2921 N. Nevada St.

According to a police, around 3:45 a.m. an unidentified male entered through the front door and pulled a gun, pointing it at a clerk and demanding money from the register. The clerk complied and emptied the contents of the register into a plastic bag.

The suspect then threatened a female manager at gunpoint, demanding money from another register in the store.

The suspect, described as a Hispanic man, 5-foot-3 with a thin build, left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and in an unknown direction. Walgreens employees said he was wearing a dark coat and a white bandanna over his face.
