Colorado Springs police arrested a man Friday after he was involved in a rollover crash and then struck an officer's car who had arrived on the scene, police said.

Harold Adams, 52, struck Sgt. Jerry Steckler's car with his fist several times, police said. Steckler attempted to use his taser twice, Sgt. Dan Thompson said, but it did not stop Adams.

Adams was later arrested on suspicion of multiple traffic violations as well as obstructing a police officer,police said. He was taken to a hospital for treatment on injuries he sustained in the accident, Thompson said.
