Tebow's speech slated at controversial church drawing criticism

Either Tim Tebow is on a money-hungry power trip that is blinding his logic, or he has carefully and knowingly planned to speak on the behalf of a preacher who has denounced Jews and gays.

There's no question that the community service Tebow does is more than most athletes do. And the former Broncos quarterback is passionately open about his Christianity, and he has done innumerable good deeds that are fueled by his faith.

But he also has taken to speaking up and speaking out, doing so at powerful pulpits. And, one of the next stops on his whirlwind will land him in Dallas, where he is supposed to speak April 28 at First Baptist Church, led by Dr. Robert Jeffress.
