The parent-teacher organization of Arapahoe High School set up a donation account to collect funds for Claire Davis, the 17-year-old victim of Friday's school shooting.

D.D. Walsh, president of the parent organization, said students started collecting donations over the weekend and the fund was set up to make sure funds all go in one place.

She said she was not sure how much has been collected so far, but she said the swim team has already gathered $1,000. Other students who set up buckets have gathered more than $500.
