The Denver Post is reporting that Broncos running back C.J. Anderson will play Sunday.

The undrafted rookie from the University of California will be activated on the Broncos' 46-man game roster for the game Sunday against Mike Shanahan’s Washington Redskins, according to multiple NFL sources.

Anderson is expected to take the game-day roster spot of Ronnie Hillman, who fumbled at Indianapolis' 2-yard line late in the fourth quarter last Sunday to kill the Broncos' chances of completing a comeback.

Gazette sports columnist David Ramsey said earlier this week that Hillman's career was in "severe jeopardy" because of fumbles.
