Fresno rallied for two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to send the Colorado Springs Sky Sox to a 4-3 defeat in the season finale on Monday at Fresno.

Hernan Irabarren had an RBI double in the second inning and a solo home run in the seventh. Sandwiched between those was a sacrifice fly by Kent Matthes that scored Drew Garcia in the sixth to give the Sky Sox a 3-2 lead after seven.

Kensuke Tanaka led off the eighth with a single and scored when Ehire Adranza followed with a double. After moving to thid on a single by Francisco Peguero, Tanaka scored on Johnny Monell’s sacrifice fly.
