Ben Paulsen homered in the sixth inning for his Pacific Coast League-leading 60th extra-base hit to help the Colorado Springs Sky Sox defeat the Fresno Grizzlies 4-2 Sunday at Fresno's Chukchansi Park.

Paulsen went 2 for 4 with two RBIs. He has 32 doubles, 10 triples and 18 home runs this season.

Ryan Wheeler and Drew Garcia also drove in runs for the Sky Sox, who snapped a four-game losing streak on their penultimate contest of the season. Colorado Springs will face Fresno on Monday in its season finale.

Nick Schmidt (5-3) scattered seven hits and three walks over 6 2/3 innings. He surrendered his lone run on a Chris Dominguez RBI double in the first inning.

Paulsen led off the second with a single off Fresno starter Justin Fitzgerald (2-8), advanced to third on a single by Kent Matthes and scored on Garcia's groundout.

Wheeler added an RBI single in the second that scored Reid Brignac from second. After Paulsen's homer in the sixth made it 3-1, Wheeler brought home Brignac on a ground out in the eighth.

Logan Kensing pitched a scoreless ninth for his 15th save.
