Police arrested a man after a traffic stop early Saturday Feb. 2 morning, police said.
A police officer stopped a vehicle during a DUI enforcement over a license plate issue at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, police said.
The driver was intoxicated, had a revoked driver's license and had no proof of insurance, police said. There was also a loaded handgun in the car, police said.
The vehicle was impounded and the driver, the driver, 23-year old Trent Howard, was taken to the Criminal Justice Center on suspicion of prohibited use of Weapons, DUI and other traffic charges.
