Two men that Colorado Springs police say could be linked to a string of July burglaries are armed and dangerous and still on the loose.

Antonio Malic Washington, 19, and Brandon Windell Moss, 20, eluded police July 15 after a traffic stop turned into a high speed chase. The vehicle pursuit ended with a crash near Portal Drive and Academy Boulevard in central Colorado Springs, but the pair and another man reportedly ran from the responding officers.

The third man, Boquan Finley, 19, was captured by a police K-9 unit and arrested on a rooftop near St. Vrain Street and Delaware Drive, police said. Finley allegedly opened fire on one pursuing officer before being taken into custody.

Finley is being held in the El Paso County jail on suspicion of robbery and attempted murder of a police officer. Bail has been set at $250,000. He is scheduled to be in 4th Judicial District Court on July 24.

The search for Washington, Moss and Finley began after a July 8 robbery and assault near a basketball court at Deerfield Hills Park in southern Colorado Springs.

According to a pair of brothers that were robbed, men fitting the description of Finley, Moss and Washington were playing basketball with them when one of the men used a TASER to stun one of the brothers and take his wallet. The other brother tried to help, but was punched by the second man.

The three left Deerfield Hills Park in a white Jeep SUV later identified as belonging to Finley.

Police believe Finley, Moss and Washington could be linked to a July 11 assault and robbery at a home in the Peregrine area in the northwest part of the city. The resident reported that three men threatened him at gunpoint and "robbed him of numerous valuables," a police press release said.

Among the items taken during that robbery was a handgun that police say was found on Finley at the time of his arrest.

Police executed a search warrant at 923 Baltic St. in Colorado Springs after learning more about Washington and Moss. According to police, neither man was at the house but more stolen items were found.

Washington and Moss are wanted on suspicion of aggravated robbery.

Anyone with information that could help police with the investigation should call 444-7000.
