Carlos Gonzalez, Michael Cuddyer selected to compete in Home Run Derby

National League Home Run Derby Captain David Wright has selected Rockies outfielders Carlos Gonzalez and Michael Cuddyer, to participate in the 2013 Home Run Derby on July 15 at Citi Field.

Gonzalez, who is making his second All-Star appearance, leads the National League with 24 home runs. Cuddyer, also making his second All-Star appearance, is second in the N.L. in batting average and in the top 10 with 15 home runs.

The two will join Wright and Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper on the National League Derby squad.
